ABOUT US

TRAIN HARDER. RECOVER FASTER.

“My vision for Pacific Sports Spa was to be a fun and lively place, which is an avenue for people to live a better and healthier life while also being deeply integrated with the local sports community.”
Matt Noren graduated from Willapa Valley High School in 2001.  He then attended Grays Harbor College for one year before graduating from Western Washington University in Bellingham, in March of 2006 with his bachelor’s degree in Communication.  A lifelong-sports junkie and athlete, Matt played football, basketball, track and baseball throughout high school, and was an all-state football player his junior and senior years of high school.

While in college, Matt began freelancing for ESPN, and was also an intern with KING5 Sports.  In addition, he began writing as the freelance sports reporter for the Pacific County Press as a freshman in high school and still writes for the paper today as much as time allows.  Following college, Matt worked for a medical staffing company in Seattle, Olympia and Portland for five years before starting his own business, Health Pros Northwest, Inc., in late-2010 right here in Chehalis.  Health Pros Northwest has grown from a one-employee company which started in a back office in his house to a much larger company that has employed nearly 1000 medical staff throughout Washington and Oregon, while still focusing on the rural and undeserved clients of our communities in the Pacific Northwest.  While not a medical professional himself, Matt developed a very thorough knowledge of the business side of the medical world, working with medical staff, and a need locally for options other than the use of pharmaceuticals.

His vision for Pacific Sports Spa was to be a fun and lively place, which is an avenue for people to live a better and healthier life while also being deeply integrated with the local sports community.  Matt and his wife Andrea have been married for six years, and live in Chehalis with their two children and have a third on the way.  Matt enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, Husky football games, Mariners baseball and attending as many high school sporting events as possible!
